Pike (item)
The pike is a heavy, simple weapon and an attack with it deals d8 stab damage. This weapon has three properties: Brace, Reach, and Two-Handed.
Heavy. Heavy items are more difficult to carry. You have disadvantage on any attack roll you make with a Heavy weapon unless your size is greater than Medium or your Strength is higher than 0.
Brace. When a creature you can see enters a space within 1 yard of you, as a reaction you can use this weapon to make one melee attack targeting that creature.
Reach. If you are skilled with this weapon, you can use it to make a melee attack against a target up to 2 yards away.
Two-Handed. You can only attack with this weapon while wielding it in two hands. You can still hold the weapon without attacking using only one hand.
