Knife. Common Weapon, Metal, 2g.

The knife is a light, simple weapon and an attack with it deals d6 slash damage. This weapon has the Finesse (d4) and Thrown (4m) properties.

Finesse. If you are skilled with this weapon, while wielding it in one hand you can add either your Strength or Dexterity to attack and damage rolls made with it. If you use Dexterity, use d4 instead of the normal damage dice.

Thrown. You can throw this weapon a distance up to 4 yards as an attack. If you are skilled with the weapon you can throw it a distance up to 12 yards, but when throwing it beyond 4 you don't add your skill level to the attack roll.
