Bolas. Common Weapon, Cloth, 0.5g.

This item is a length of cord with two weighted ends, used to trip foes from a distance. A pair of bolas is a simple melee weapon, which on a hit deals d4 bash damage.

Thrown. You can throw this weapon a distance up to 4 yards as an attack. If you are skilled with the weapon you can throw it a distance up to 12 yards, but when throwing it beyond 4 you don't add your skill level to the attack roll.

Special. If you hit a Medium or smaller creature with bolas, instead of dealing damage you can choose to knock the target Prone.
