Sword (item)

Sword. Common weapon, Metal, 20g.

The sword is a martial melee weapon. If you attack with a sword, a hit deals slash damage equaling d8 + the wielder's Strength. This weapon has the Dueling and Versatile weapon properties.

Dueling. While you are wielding at least one Dueling weapon, increase your Melee Defense by 1 unless you have another hand holding something other than another Dueling weapon.

Versatile. If you are skilled with this weapon and use it in two hands for a melee attack, on a hit increase the dealt damage by 1.
